This is to procure the design of a single-lane roundabout with Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc. in the amount of $487,800. The Transportation Department and Traffic Engineering Division are requesting this service to design a single-lane roundabout at the existing intersection of Windsor Forest Road and Largo Drive. Kimley-Horn will provide project management/coordination, database preparation, environmental studies, and roadway plans. Kimley-Horn already has in-depth knowledge of this intersection as they provided the Intersection Control Evaluation Analysis and developed the roundabout concept earlier this year.

Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a piggybacking contract. The contract used for this procurement is a Chatham County contract On Call Design Engineering of Transportation Projects (Contract 20-0069-4 B).
