The Fuel Storage Facility Expansion Project includes the installation of three (3), 40,000-gallon above-ground storage tanks to the existing fuel storage facility and the construction of a new concrete containment area. The new tanks will be equipped with automatic tank level gauges, access platforms, and access stairs. Additional work in the project includes demolition and replacement of the diesel tank, relocation of the gasoline tank, and the main electrical panel, and reconstruction of the fuel truck parking pad. The bid amount was significantly higher than the engineers estimate of $5,409,151.56.
