| Description This equipment is necessary to conduct FAA-recommended friction testing throughout the year. The Savannah Airport Commission (SAC) is now required to do minimum testing at least four times a year to evaluate rubber buildup. In addition, the equipment can be used to substantiate pilot reporting in the event of winter conditions. Operations employees will receive 2 days of on-site training for the equipment. Delivery is expected in 16 – 18 weeks and it includes a one-year warranty.
