Notification of emergency procurement of the roof replacement at the Water Reclamation Lab from Tera Systems in the amount of $56,900.  The roof has reached its life expectancy and the warranty period has expired.  The laboratory utilizes delicate, expensive laboratory instruments that are used to analyze samples from the four wastewater treatment facilities.  The environment to perform these tests must be clean to prevent contamination of samples.  It was determined that the roof membrane failed which caused water intrusion into the laboratory.  The vendor was selected because it was the first available vendor to immediately respond.
