The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval to participate in the Travel and Leisure Campaign Partnership with the Hilton Head Island Chamber of Commerce.  Funding is requested to participate with the Hilton Head Island Chamber of Commerce in a campaign with Travel and Leisure, with the goal of keeping the Island number 1 in the reader’s choice World’s Best Awards.  Hilton Head has been chosen number one island for the last four years, and we realize that continuing that streak will help continue to grow our passenger traffic. The request includes a print campaign in the February Islands issue, which will act as a lead up to the voting that begins in March.  Also included is additional digital marketing with the Chamber promoting the voting period.
