Description This contract modification no. 1 is for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering services annual contract with Pond Company (Primary)(LOCAL) & Raymond Engineering (Secondary)(LOCAL) in the amount of $75,000. The City has ongoing needs for limited-scope mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering services, particularly regarding condition and capacity assessments of its systems including, but not limited to, HVAC systems, elevators, fire sprinklers and alarms, switch gears, and other systems in existing facilities and several critical systems for City facilities. From time to time, there is also a need for assistance with design reviews and third-party advice during construction activities, as well as MEP design for small projects.
This contract modification is needed to provide the necessary engineering services for additional projects to meet ongoing MEP needs in the City. The total amount for this contract modification is $75,000 and shall ensure that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing needs are effectively managed, maintaining the integrity and functionality of City facilities. This contract was originally approved by City Council on March 12, 2020, in the amount of $75,000. The total for this annual contract including this modification is $150,000. | |
