The Traffic Engineering Department received a request to investigate the need for traffic control at the intersection of Nettles Industrial Boulevard and Ross Road.                                            

The Traffic Engineering Department has investigated residents’ concerns and has determined that there is a need for traffic control at this intersection.  Due to Ross Road having higher traffic volumes, and that there are no correctable accidents during the three-year period from July 1, 2014 through July 1, 2017, Traffic Engineering recommends the installation of yield signs for eastbound traffic on Nettles Industrial Boulevard to provide positive traffic control.  

Recommend amending the Code of the City of Savannah, Part 7-1026, Appendix I, Sec. 210, Yield Right of Way Intersections, to include:

Nettles Industrial Boulevard yields for Ross Road
