Mariner Brand Deptford, LLC, which is owner of a 9.837-acre tract of land on President Street, immediately east of the existing Mariners’ Grove Apartments, has petitioned the Mayor and Aldermen to accept the property into the City Limits of Savannah.  The property is currently a part of an industrial zone which is served by City fire services.  In accordance with the Georgia Constitution, the owner is prepared to file a certificate removing the property from the industrial zone and annexing it into the City.  The resolution and a copy of the certificate to be recorded are attached.
