The developer of Benton Park, a proposed apartment complex, entered into an agreement with the City of Savannah on July 19, 2019.  The Memorandum of Understanding outlines a $42,000 contribution of funds for the construction of a temporary traffic signal at the intersection of Benton Boulevard and Spring Lakes Drive. The proposed trip generation from this development warrants a traffic study, but instead of requiring the study, it was determined that a contribution to intersection improvements would be more appropriate.  Attached is the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Savannah and PGA Benton Park Owner, LLC.
