This change order includes the additional labor, equipment, and materials required to demolish and replace twenty-eight (28) Taxiway A concrete slabs that have cracked and shattered creating foreign object debris. These slabs were initially scheduled to be replaced in the Bypass taxilane project, but the rate of failure has accelerated and was noted in our most recent FAA inspection. As part of the work any underlying subbase or subgrade issues encountered will be corrected. Additional work includes milling and paving Gate 20A. All asphalt millings and concrete removed as part of this work will be stockpiled onsite. SAC Job ID 30651.
