This procurement is for the purchase, installation, and long-term service agreement of 4 CommandCentral AXS Dispatch Consoles from Motorola Solutions. These consoles will be installed in the new APD Communications Center located in the new Multi Agency Public Safety Facility. These consoles will giver our Communications Officers the ability to patch multiple frequencies together to increase situational awareness and being able utilize alert tones for emergency alerting. This is a sole source purchase due to this is the same equipment being utilized by Chatham 911 Communications Services allowing cross utilization in emergency situations. This is an unbudgeted expense for 2026 but required due to the installation portion during the construction of the MAPSF. The total contract amount of $1,287,673 will be funded over the seven-year agreement term as follows:
