Description Recommend approval of a construction contract for Abercorn Creek Intake Bank Stabilization with Crowder Construction Company in the amount of $4,747,225.21. The Office of Capital Projects will use this vendor for the installation of approximately 330-ft long steel Sheet Pile to stabilize the soil embankment at the Abercorn Creek Municipal Walter Intake Facility at 456 Abercorn St in Rincon, GA. Erosion is occurring at an accelerated rate due to damage from Hurricane Matthew causing the embankment to be unstable. The bulkhead will be stabilized by tiebacks that are to connect to an approximately 300-ft long sheet pile wall constructed 75-ft inboard of the above-mentioned wall. | |
