Description Recommend approval to procure two emergency backup pumps from Thompson Pump Manufacturing in amount of $112,533. The Conveyance and Distribution Division will use the pumps at Lift Station No. 158 at 125 Crossroads Parkway and Lift Station No. 159 at Jimmy DeLoach Parkway. The pumps will provide backup capabilities to ensure sanitary sewer service and station operations are stable when station pumps are out of service. This purchase will be made using the Sourcewell Cooperative. The contract was competitively bid by Sourcewell and awarded to Thompson Pump Manufacturing. The City of Savannah’s purchasing ordinance Section 2-4152 authorizes the use of cooperative purchasing agreements. | |
