Description Notification of an emergency purchase of a 48" electromagnetic flow meter from Calibration Controls & Automation in the amount of $59,589.42. The Water Supply and Treatment Department uses an electromagnetic flow metering device to measure and monitor raw water withdrawn from Abercorn Creek and Savannah River. This twenty-five-year-old device reached the end of its useful life and had to be replaced. The electromagnetic flow meter records up to 50 million gallons of water per day. To comply with state and federal requirements and to prevent permit violations, the City is required to report meter readings on a monthly basis. Three quotes were received. L.Q.
