| Description Recommend approval of a contract for courtside seating for the New Arena with Hussey Seating Company (D) in the amount of $263,610. Expenditure was included in project budget funded from SPLOST. Purchase includes 2,500 chairs, 50 storage trunks, and starter blocks. The seating will be used for courtside seating in the new arena. Seating will be scheduled for delivery starting in December 2021, with the arena slated for opening in February of 2022. This purchase will be made through a cooperative purchasing agreement with Sourcewell. The contract was competitively bid and awarded to Hussey Seating Company. The contract, 091719-HSC expires on December 3, 2023. Cooperative purchasing is authorized as an appropriate procurement method in Division 10 Section 4-4152 of the City of Savannah’s purchasing ordinance. (D) indicates non-local, non-DBE owned business. Recommend approval.
