Description

The Mayor and Aldermen approved the related rezoning request (File No. 18-002953-ZA) under First and Second Readings on August 2, 2018.  The approval of that rezoning request requires an amendment to the boundaries of the Mid-City District as set forth in Sec. 8-3199 (File No. 18-003702-ZA).  The Mayor and Aldermen approved this text amendment request following a Zoning Hearing on August 2 as well. The action being considered now is the approval of an ordinance for the text amendment.

Harold Yellin and Joshua Yellin as Agents for Montgomery Street Partners, LLC, (File No. 18-002953-ZA) requested approval to rezone two parcels located at the corner of West 32nd Street and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard from B-G (General Business) to TC-2 (Traditional Commercial, Mid-City District).
