Recommend approval to authorize the City Manager to procure nine dump trucks from Roberts International Trucks in the amount of $955,637.98. In an attempt to standardize our fleet of dump trucks, the City of Savannah has purchased International brand trucks for the previous five years.  The cost savings of $30 per truck did not offset the cost of maintenance required to service an alternative brand of dump truck in our fleet, and awarding this procurement to the apparent low bidder. The nine dump trucks will be split among multiple departments

• Street Maintenance Department will receive three dump trucks replacing units 8243, 8244, and 8245
• Storm Water will receive three dump trucks replacing units 7269, 8228, and 8229
• Regional Plants will receive one dump truck replacing unit 9819
• Street Cleaning will receive two dump trucks replacing units 7728 and 7729
