Contract Modification No. 2​ is to extend contract administration services with Ethos Preservation, LLC through Phase 3 of the City Hall Restoration Project in an amount not to exceed $70,000.  The initial contract with Ethos Preservation, in the amount of $490,395, was specifically intended to cover the design costs associated with the now-completed first phase of the project. A contract modification was approved by the City Manager in the amount of $49,410 and brought the current total to $539,805. To facilitate the successful execution of the third phase, additional design services from Ethos Preservation are required. Phase three scope items include plaster repairs to walls and ceilings, repairs to marble stair slabs and treads, refinishing historic doors, and refinishing the historic woodwork on the stairs and within the rotunda on the third and fourth floors of City Hall. This proposed modification will increase the total contract amount to $609,805 necessitating an additional allocation of $70,000.
