| Description This contract is with JOC Construction in the amount of $384,150 for civil site services at the Daffin Signature Playground (RE137). This contract includes civil site services to bring utilities to new playground amenities, install new concrete sidewalks, site grading, and parking improvements. This will improve current amenities at Daffin Park and provide the groundwork for new accessible play structures, a splash pad, and a bathroom facility.
This purchase will be made using a cooperative purchasing agreement. Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a state contract. The contract used for this procurement is a State of Georgia contract for Indefinite Quantity Construction (Contract No. 99999-SPD-20200901). It was competitively bid by the State of Georgia and expires on October 19, 2025.
