Description

This request is to execute a contract for a Modular Firing Range Ammunition Storage Building for the Savannah Police Department with Lynn Construction Contracting in an amount not to exceed $261,200. This will be used for a modular ammunition storage building for the Savannah Police Department (SPD), which includes site preparation, building installation, including concrete and electrical work, civil site services, and coordination with the modular building manufacturer for assistance with delivery. The modular ammunition storage building will improve current ammunition storage capacity at the firing range and also ensure that ammunition is being stored in proper conditions. 

 

This purchase will be made through a cooperative purchasing agreement. Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a state contract. The contract used for this procurement is a State of Georgia contract for Indefinite Quantity Construction (Contract No. 99999-SPD-20200901). It was competitively bid by the State of Georgia and expires on October 19, 2025.
