This is to award an annual contract for Adobe cloud licenses with CDW-G in an amount not to exceed $35,875. The City utilizes subscriptions with Adobe Software to provide services and applications that give subscribers access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, and document editing on a cloud-based platform. The renewal consists of the following licenses: 64 Adobe Pro, four Adobe Captivate,13 Adobe Creative Cloud, one Adobe Premiere Pro, and three Adobe Photoshop. The cost to renew the existing cloud licensing is $27,709.15 which is an 18% increase from last year due to new subscriptions being purchased and added to the City’s license count. Additionally, ITS has identified 48 existing licenses that need to be upgraded to the cloud subscription. The current version for these 48 licenses will no longer be supported by the vendor. The cost for the 48 subscription upgrades is $8,165.28. These items are charged back to departments annually.

This contract will utilize a Sourcewell contract. Per section 2-4152 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a cooperative contract. The contract used for this procurement is Sourcewell contract # 081419-CDW for Technology Catalog Solutions. It was competitively bid by Sourcewell and it expires on 10/30/2023.
