Description Request approval of a Resolution that authorizes the City Manager to submit the FY2019 Supportive Housing Program application to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding and grant agreement with the sub-recipient named therein. The grant is in the amount of $794,083 to implement a Continuum of Care (CoC) Supportive Housing program known as City 54, which provides $40,219 in grantee administrative expenses and $753,864 for tenant-based rental subsidies and supportive services. The CoC program is designed to provide housing and supportive services on a long-term basis for homeless persons with disabilities (serious mental illnesses, chronic problems with alcohol and/or drugs, acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) or related diseases), and their families who are living in places not intended for human habitation or in emergency shelters. | |
