This property (PIN 2-0054-01-007) is a 3,240 +/- square foot vacant, residential lot located on the north side of East Park Avenue Lane, just east of East Broad Street within the Eastside neighborhood.

The property was declared surplus and available for sale during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on August 31, 2017. RFP Event #5735 was issued soliciting sealed bids and proposals from interested buyers. Two responses were received; all were evaluated and scored by committee.

The highest scoring response to acquire the lot was from Jonathan and Dark Walters at a purchase price of $17,256.00. Located in an area deficient of parking, Mr. and Mrs. Walters are planning to create off-street parking spaces for their multi-unit investment property located at 622 East Park Avenue Lane. The 2017 Chatham County Board of Assessors has assessed the land value at $6,500.00.
