SunCoast Restoration and Waterproofing, LLC is currently on-site, repairing old and deteriorating expansion joints on the terminal ramp. SAC is requesting approval of Change Order #1 for SunCoast to perform similar work around the precast columns on the first and second floors and at the front entryways. This includes removing old, failing, or damaged expansion joints, cleaning and preparing the areas, and installing new backer rod and sealant along the bases of the precast columns. Approving this change order allows the contractor to address these additional deteriorated areas while already mobilized, ensuring continuity of work and preventing further degradation of the terminal structure.
