This purchase is for two four-wheel drive utility cab tractors as life-cycle replacements for VEQ 201 and VEQ 202 (2010 Kubota tractors). SAC has scheduled a lifecycle replacement for the same type of tractor for next year, and, with the good price, we have decided to take advantage of the low cost and purchase two tractors. The Commission issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) with a deadline of March 11, 2026, and received six (6) bids. After evaluating all responsive submissions, Hendrix Machinery Inc. was determined to be the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting all specifications. The amounts listed below reflect the cost for one tractor.  Included in the 2026 budget is $75,000.
