| Description This is for four (4) rear loader bodies with flippers with Solid Waste Applied Technologies c/o New Way in the amount of $493,052. The rear loaders refuse trucks are FY22 fleet additions that will be utilized by the City of Savannah’s Recycling & Litter Services Division. The rear loader bodies are manufactured and designed to fit the Crane Carrier truck chassis. This procurement was made through a cooperative purchasing agreement with Sourcewell contract # 091219-NWY. Cooperative purchasing is authorized as an appropriate procurement method in Division 10 Section 4-4152 of the City of Savannah’s purchasing ordinance. The competitive bid process was not utilized; as, the Sourcewell contract provided reasonable pricing when compared with previous years. S.C. Solid Waste Applied Technologies c/o New Way (Vidalia, GA)(D) $493,052.00 A pre-proposal meeting was not conducted as these items are being procured through the use of a cooperative purchasing agreement. (D) Indicates non-local, non-DBE business.
