Description This is to procure a contract for Polymers from Polydyne, Inc. in the amount not to exceed $120,000. The polymer is used by the Water Reclamation Plant to coagulate raw water and to dewater sludge to form a solid, making it easier to handle, dewater, and dispose of in a landfill. Two polymers are being used for raw water treatment and sludge dewatering to remove excess water from the water clarification process. A million pounds of wet sludge is hauled a year to landfill. The proposal was advertised, opened, and reviewed. The contract term expires on. April 9, 2026 also includes four available renewal options. Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net30 day. The bidders were:
