Description Recommend approval to procure seven auto charging stations from LilyPad EV in the amount of $38,049. The wall mounted units will be installed in the new parking garage located at Eastern Wharf on Randolph Street and President Street. The units will allow customers to charge their vehicles free of charge. Installing electric vehicle charging stations, will bring about social and environmental consciousness. They were selected due to pricing, efficiency, and compatibilty with current units located on Bull Street at Bryan Street, Forsyth Park and the Visitor Center. The life expectancy of the units are approximately 10 years. The charging stations come with a one year warranty included in the price which covers cloud data and storage, remote networking and access, repair and maintenance. Additional warranties may be purchased for future years to adequately maintain the stations. This purchase will be made using Sourcewell Contract #: 051017-LPE Effective: 7-25-2017 to 7-25-2022. Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a corporative contract. The contract used for this procurement is a Sourcewell contract. It was a competitively bid by Sourcewell.
