| Description This item is for contract modification no. 1 for Savannah Police Department (SPD) Pursuit vehicles with Alan Jay Fleet in the amount of $1,446,327. This modification is necessary to equip 106 Ford Pursuit utility vehicles with the necessary equipment, which is used for routine law enforcement services. These vehicles were purchased in 2022 for FY23 as new replacement vehicles. This modification is needed to include outfitting vehicles with warning lights, seat partitions, center consoles, face plates and MDT stands, decals, and other necessary equipment. Including the installation of all necessary equipment with the purchase of the vehicles will greatly reduce the time needed by the City to outfit the vehicles once received.
This contract was originally approved by Council on 10/13/2022 in the amount of $5,174,716. The total amount of this contract to date, including this modification, is $6,621,043. | |
