Description

Recommend approval of a modification for additional work hours to SharePoint with Robert Half/Protiviti in the amount of $4,390.

The additional hours will be used to improve the SharePoint site, “MySavannah”, for all City employees. MySavannah is an upgraded replacement of the City's old CINC environment, provided through the City's partnership with Microsoft. It was designed to be a powerful tool for internal team collaboration and communication for employees. The portal is web-based and allows for 24x7 access with no requirement to be on a City network or connected over a VPN.  This new solution gives the City of Savannah the most flexible and responsive workforce possible and keeps our City always open for business.

Improvements to the MySavannah site will include:

  • The ability for departments to edit event alerts.
  • The ability to add attachment links.
  • The addition of a navigation bar.
  • Assistance with troubleshooting errors.

This contract was originally approved by Council on August 27, 2020, in the amount of $100,000. With this modification, the total approved by Council will be $104,390.

This purchase is being made using the HGAC Buy Cooperative, a regional council of governments in the State of Texas. This contract was competitively bid, awarded to Robert Half International, Inc. The City of Savannah’s purchasing ordinance authorizes the use of cooperative purchasing agreements.
