| Description Airfield Operations continually rebuilds taxiway lighting circuits as part of an overall multi-year airfield lighting maintenance program. This project will upgrade the lighting system on Taxiway E. The upgraded LED fixtures are compliant with FAA Airport Certification standards and have a useful life of over 100,000 hours versus incandescent fixtures, with an average useful life of 2,500 hours. Allen Enterprises is a sole-source provider and government-approved sole-source contractor of the ADB SafeGate light fixture and connection kits, which are currently in use on the airfield taxiway lighting system. | |
