This contract is for the procurement of maintenance and repair services from Motorola Solutions in the amount of $118,924. Public Safety, Public Works and Water Resources use the ASTRO radio equipment for communication support. The maintenance agreement covers radio network monitoring, technician dispatch services, telephone/online technical support, preventative maintenance, security update service, remote security patch installation, and onsite infrastructure repair and replacement. The maintenance agreement with Motorola Solutions, Inc. is critical to ensure authorized, knowledgeable, and timely vendor maintenance and support is available when it is necessary. 

This is a sole source because of the complex design and architecture of the radio system and Motorola, the original provider, does not allow other vendors to perform primary maintenance and support of its system. This will be a two-year maintenance agreement for FY24 and FY25 totaling $241,605 (FY24 $118,924, FY25 $122,681). Delivery: As needed.  Terms: Net 30 days.
