Notification of procurement of emergency Veeam Backup Solution - Enterprise from Layer 3 in the amount of $40,622.40.
The Department of Information Technology required this technology to replace the current backup solution and storage platform. This Veeam Backup Solution provides a faster, more robust, and comprehensive restoration of data and systems. This emergency purchase proactively helps to defend against the ongoing threat of malicious cyber security activity.
This vendor was selected due to its immediate availability, its ability to provide the necessary technology, and the fact that it currently holds the contract for network managed services and maintenance on network equipment. This contract also includes a discounted purchase price, installation, and maintenance of network equipment.
