Recommend approval of Contract Amendment No. 2 for the Cultural Arts Center Design Services contract with Gunn Meyerhoff Shay in the amount of $50,572.50.

The original contract was for the design services and construction administration of the new Cultural Arts Center. This contract amendment is needed for additional services including continued construction administration and inspection and ensuring the high level quality assurance and quality control during the remainder of construction.  Due to weather related and other construction delays, the date of substantial completion was extended.

This contract was originally approved by Council on June 13, 2013 in the amount of $1,985,000.00. The total amount of the contract to date, including this amendment, is $2,145,352.50.
