To facilitate a water line, there is a need to acquire a small portion of a larger parcel located at 5215 Augusta Road, in Garden City (part of PIN 60002 01006 and PIN 60002 01007). Two small parcels of 595 square feet and 551 square feet, for a total of 1,146 square (0.03 Acre) are needed. The real property is owned by Dan C. Weil and the parties have negotiated a nominal acquisition price of $13,000 which was based on an appraisal obtained by the City, as performed by a State Certified Real Estate Appraiser.

Request approval to execute a contract for the negotiated purchase price of $13,000 to acquire this real property for water line purposes, and authorization for the City Manager to execute the purchase and sale agreement and subsequent closing documents.
