Description

Recommend approval of Contract Modification No.1 with Pioneer Construction for Barnard Street ramp repairs in the amount of $825.

The original contract was for the repair of the Barnard Street ramp. The work includes repair and replacement of brick and stones, mortar repointing, crack repair, vegetation removal, and securing the fence posts along the top of the wall. The existing sandstone has deteriorated and will be replaced with granite. This modification is needed for the additional granite replacement.

This contract was originally approved by Council on August 29, 2019 in the amount of $195,071.  The total amount of the contract to date, including this modification, is $195,896.
