| Description This contract is for the purchase of parts for the primary clarifiers from Brentwood Industries, Inc. in the amount of $119,900.
The Water Reclamation Department uses the parts for the primary clarifiers for the treatment of influent wastewater. The clarifiers remove floatable and settable solids. This is a necessary component in the treatment of wastewater at the President Street Water Reclamation Facility. The parts are required for the operation of the clarifier to perform the wastewater treatment process. This is a sole source because the parts will be used with existing equipment available only from this supplier.
