Description

This is for an agreement with Greenline Architecture for design services at the Thomas Gamble Building Renovation project (PB756) in the amount of $625,000. These services will be used to develop renovation plans addressing much-needed capital improvements to the building. Areas of focus will be on the existing mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems, building structure and building envelope, environmental safety, building code compliance, and office efficiency. The consultant’s services will include investigative reports, existing conditions assessments, recommendations on repair/renovation, architectural/structural/mechanical/electrical/plumbing design, construction administration services, and project closeout. Savannah’s 100% Clean Energy Initiative will be integrated into the plans.

 

The request was advertised and four proposals were opened and reviewed. Proposals were scored based on qualifications, experience, methodology, references, DBE, fee, and Savannah First. Interviews were conducted with the four proposers who provided a response. Based on the highest scores of the evaluation matrix, two proposers were selected to provide a Best and Final Offer based on proposal clarifications, with the final scores shown below.
