The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval to renew the annual maintenance and service agreement with Kone, Inc. in the amount of $147,964.55. This contract is for the maintenance and service of the airport's elevators and escalators. 

This is a sole source agreement because Kone is the original manufacturer of the escalators and elevators covered by this agreement. The original contract with Kone was executed in May 2006. The most recent amendment, executed in 2009, provided for annual price increases not to exceed 5%. Kone is proposing a 3.88% increase for 2018-1019, which will bring the cost to $12,330.38 per month, or $147,964.55 annually.
