Description

This annual contract is to procure smart water meter calibration software from Mars Company in an amount not to exceed $67,707. This agreement will ensure individual meter water and sewer revenue is collected accurately by the City of Savannah. The MARS Meter Management (M3) Enterprise Software Suite has been utilized since 2017 and has allowed for more efficient and effective operational measures for the water meter testing protocol. The software will also allow the City Water Distribution to ‘grade’ the water meters that serve the customers of Savannah, test more meters at a time, reduce test time, generate highly accurate results (repeatable within ¼ of 1%), and certify employees for training.
