Title
29. Motion to Renew Emergency Notification System Annual Maintenance Agreement with SwiftReach (Event No. 6301)
Strategic Priority
Public Safety
Description

Recommend approval to renew an annual maintenance agreement for an emergency notification system with SwiftReach in the amount of $43,500.00.  This cost is split equally between the City of Savannah and Chatham County.  The City of Savannah will pay the entire invoice, and will invoice the County for $21,750.00.

This is a renewal of the service provided by SwiftReach, which provides notification during emergencies and other time-sensitive events via multiple contact methods (voice, text, email, fax, and social media and syndicates messages). All emergency message notifications are delivered via SwiftReach’s owned and operated Notification Delivery Network. This is a sole source service because SwiftReach is the original manufacturer of this system. It is critical to have maintenance and support from the original provider to ensure authorized, knowledgeable, and timely vendor support when and if it is necessary.

This contract runs from July 19, 2018, through June 30, 2019.
