The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval to Procure Services from Belfor Property Restoration in the amount of $27,302.16. Prior to notifying the Savannah Airport Commission, PSA Airlines, believing that there was possible mold growth on a set of chill water lines in their lease area requested services from Belfor Property Restoration. Savannah Airport Commission was made aware of the issue upon Belfor’s arrival to airport property requesting escort.

Savannah Airport Commission immediately began to investigate the issue and allowed the testing to be performed which returned positive. Belfor has performed remediation previously for Savannah Airport Commission therefore are authorized to perform emergency remediation and clean-up.  As part of this process, Belfor worked to maintain acceptable air quality until final testing returned to normal.  Cost for labor, material and equipment during this emergency repair was unknown until work was complete.
