17. Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Contract Renewal for Storm Debris Removal Services During Declared Disasters with Three Vendors for an Amount that Will Vary Based on the Severity of the Disaster (Event No. 6481)
Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for storm debris removal during declared disasters with Ashbritt, Inc. (Primary)(D), Ceres Environmental Services, Inc. (Secondary)(D), and DRC Emergency Services (tertiary)(D) in the amount that will vary due to the nature and severity of the disaster events. The Sanitation Department uses the storm debris removal services to prepare for and recover from major debris-generating disaster events.
The original contract was bid and approved by Council on July 2, 2019. This is the first of four renewal options available.
