| Description Recommend approval of repair services for a bulldozer with Caterpillar in c/o Yancey Brothers in the amount of $30,513. The Bulldozer is the primary waste handling machine for daily operations at the Dean Forest Road Landfill. Downtime associated with this piece of equipment creates additional expenses (i.e. equipment rental) and impacts Environmental Protection Division (EPD) permit requirements. This procurement was made through a cooperative purchasing agreement Sourcewell contract No. 032119-CAT. Cooperative purchasing is authorized as an appropriate procurement method in Division 10 Section 4-4152 of the City of Savannah’s purchasing ordinance. Delivery: As requested. Terms: Net 30 days. The vendor is C.C. Caterpillar in C/O Yancey Brothers (Pooler, GA)(D) $30,513. A pre-proposal meeting was not conducted as this item is being procured through the use of a cooperative purchasing agreement. (D) Indicates non-local, non-DBE business. | |
