Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Three (3) Year Contract for Information Technology (IT) Governance and Technology Advisory Services with Info-Tech in an Amount Not to Exceed $207,480 Annually. InfoTech Research Group is a technology advisory research firm that provides IT governance and core process analysis in building a strategic data-driven plan and is a pivotal partner for the ITS department. This contract encompasses staff development, best practices guidance, and networking opportunities for municipal government IT professionals, and serves as a cornerstone for Innovation and Technology Services. Description

This contract is for the procurement of Information Technology (IT) Governance and Technology Advisory Services with Info-Tech in an amount not to exceed $207,480. InfoTech Research Group is a technology advisory research firm that provides IT governance and core process analysis in building a strategic data-driven plan and is a pivotal partner for the ITS department. This contract encompasses staff development, best practices guidance, and networking opportunities for municipal government IT professionals, and serves as a cornerstone for Innovation and Technology Services. 

 

This contract also provides IT services through multiple paths spanning all levels of the City's operations and has proven instrumental in enhancing staff's skills, keeping the team updated on industry best practices, and fostering collaboration with other government members across the country. The annual cost, which is included in ITS's FY24 budget, reflects the City's commitment to investing in the continuous improvement of our IT services. The goal of this process is to equip and elevate the ITS team with the resources and data needed to provide the City and community with a data-driven, accurate, and financially sound roadmap to enrich developing communities, and aid staff and Council initiatives in an ever-evolving climate. This is a 3-year contract and the costs are as follows:

 

Year 1: $207,479.05 (02/12/24 – 02/12/25)

Year 2: $207,479.05 (02/12/25 – 02/12/26)

Year 3: $207,479.05 (02/12/26 – 02/12/27)

 

These services are being procured through a cooperative purchasing agreement (GSA GS-35F-298GA). Cooperative purchasing is authorized as an appropriate procurement method in Division 10 Section 4-4152 of the City of Savannah’s purchasing ordinance. The contract was competitively bid by GSA and expires on March 16, 2027. Delivery: As requested. Terms: Net 30 days.

A pre-proposal meeting was not conducted as these services are being procured through the use of a cooperative purchasing agreement. (D) Indicates non-local, non-DBE owned business.
