Description

Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for purchase of asphaltic concrete to Preferred Materials, Inc. for up to $50,000. The Mobility Services Department will use this contract to supply material for hot-mix asphalt to repair potholes, utility cuts and pavement defects caused by tree root damage, low patches or rutting. Under this contract, the City will pick up material from the vendor and complete the necessary repairs.

The contract was originally approved by Council on February 27, 2020. This is the first of three renewal options.
