Healthcare Georgia Foundation’s President, Gary D. Nelson, PhD, and Community Housing Services Agency, Inc.’s (CHSA) Executive Director, Anita Smith-Dixon, are presenting a $50,000 donation to the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Savannah for deposit into the Savannah Affordable Housing Fund (SAHF). This donation was granted to CHSA as capital funds to help leverage other private and public funds. The SAHF is a local fund that helps leverage private investment to address local workforce and affordable housing needs and opportunities. The City of Savannah Housing and Neighborhood Services Department and the Community Housing Services Agency, Inc., a non-profit housing corporation, oversee the SAHF administration. A motion to formally accept this donation appears in the resolution section of the Agenda.
