| Title Motion to Renew Annual Contract for One-Ton Chlorine Cylinders with Allied Universal Corporation (Event No. 3492) | |
| Description Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for liquid chlorine in one-ton cylinders with Allied Universal Corporation in the amount of $102,500.00. The chlorine is used by the Water Reclamation and Industrial and Domestic Water departments to treat water at the various City water treatment plants. The annual contract amount has increased due to the increasing unit price of chlorine per ton. The user departments have agreed to this increase. Bids were originally received on September 1, 2015. The original contract was approved by Council on October 1, 2015 in the amount of $84,725.00. This is the second of three renewal options available. The contract term will be from December 7, 2017 through December 6, 2018. | |
