This alcoholic beverage license hearing is continued from the Meeting of October 25, 2018, and November 20, 2018.

Dhaval Patel for Pavan Putra Enterprises, Inc. t/a Broughton Market #2, has requested a beer and wine (by the package) license at 135 West Bay Street, which is located between Whitaker Street and Barnard Street in Aldermanic District 2. The applicant plans to operate as a convenience store. (New owner/location) 

The original application was for a Class D-Retail Package Store license, which allows up to 100% of revenue to come from alcohol sales. The applicant has revised its application to apply for a Class E-Ancillary Retail Package Store license, which allows no more than 25% of revenue to come from alcohol sales.  

No concerns were noted by the Savannah Police Department. Zoning noted the location requires a certificate of occupancy before the alcoholic beverage license can be issued. Revised alcohol application along with security plan are attached.
