Notification of the emergency procurement of a decontamination machine from Aeroclave, LLC in the amount of $29,528. The Savannah Police Department will use the machine to decontaminate large areas to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  The machine contains a hands-free decontamination application which produces a hospital grade disinfectant that can completely sanitize large size areas such as squad rooms and precincts.

This is an emergency procurement due to the Police Department’s immediate need of the equipment to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and to prevent the spread of the virus.
